MITEM Renames Dr. Chart to Blue Iris eLaborate
New name fits more closely with products capability and existing Blue Iris brand
MENLO PARK, CA - August 30, 2006 - MITEM Corporation, a provider of integration software solutions and clinical applications for healthcare organizations, today announced that it is changing the name of its Dr. Chart product. The online laboratory ordering and results system will be renamed to Blue Iris eLaborate.
This name change affects the name only. The product itself is identical in all other aspects (features, performance and specifications) and the product numbering scheme remains the same. The change will affect product labeling, advertising, documentation, the web site, marketing materials and other printed or related matter.
The product will receive a new product logo that will be visible in the next service pack release. Existing customers will be upgraded incrementally as their needs dictate. New customers and prospects currently evaluating the Dr. Chart product will have their orders fulfilled with the same Dr. Chart product branded as Blue Iris eLaborate.
“The name change reflects the ongoing commitment to the product and is more descriptive of its current capability. In addition it fits with the existing Blue Iris family of products and reinforces the overall brand that customers trust,” said Andy Nelson, vice president, marketing.
