Blue Iris eLaborate and the MEDITECH MAGIC Platform
Blue Iris eLaborate sits between physician's office and the MEDITEC MAGIC application. When a physician creates an order in their EMR or through Blue Iris eLaborate web portal. the data is passed to Blue Iris Connect. Blue Iris Connect communicates with and updates the appropriate MEDITECH MAGIC modules and retrieves information as needed. Responses from the MEDITECH MAGIC system are sent back to the physician's office and are presented in the EMR or through Blue Iris eLaborate. Because Blue Iris Connect handles the communication between the physician's offices and MEDITECH MAGIC, it can perform multiple tasks simultaneously, reducing many manual processes.
Standards-Based Technology
Built to incorporate the latest technological standards, Blue Iris Connect coupled with Blue Iris eLaborate allows physician's to create orders and receive results that are electronically sent to and from MEDITECH MAGIC through a Web browser on almost any computer, from almost anywhere in the world. Minimum Requirements for MAGIC
MEDITECH MAGIC 4.8 or later required. The Blue Iris eLaborate client will function on any computer running a compliant Web-browser. Our deployment page offers a basic overview of a typical installation.
